Mardi Himal Trek

Overview

Mardi himal trek in the present day a very thought of destination for trekking in Nepal. With the idea of providing a different perspective of exploring the same region from a different angle this trek emerged not very long back. The trek mostly remains inside the Annapurna conservation Area, commonly known as ACA, but beats the influx trekking to the Annapurna base camp or any other famed route in the region.

Mardi Himal trek, since the beginning, has always been overshadowed and has been more of off the beaten trek. Nevertheless, beginning from a different trek put in destination it primarily embarks on lush green forest and remains like that almost throughout. There aren’t many houses along the trail and it is absolutely perfect the way it is because it contributes to serene ambiance. The teahouses are close to null and it is not a trek to experience culture and religion. The view on the other hand, is a stunner. You reach to an altitude of 4500 meters which is almost similar to that of Annapurna base camp. The zenith of the trek offers impeccable views of the mountains Fishtail, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Gangapurna.

Annapurna conservation is very popular for wildlife as well and since majority of Mardi Himal trek falls in the same you will spot several birds. You will also have few opportunities to witness variety of monkeys. You will as well hear a lot of stories of leopards taking their cattle and sighting of snow leopard footprints on the mountains but since these animals are very shy in nature and a very rare sighting.

There are several other reasons for you to trek to Mardi Himal base camp. One of the few reasons is one of the best rhododendron blossoms of the season. You will witness acres of land covered with rhododendron of different hue. Second, you will mostly walk on the ridges after certain point. You will walk on barren cliffs with best views on the both hands.

Mardi himal trek is a short trek and of medium difficulty and can be completed within a very short time. If you want to go very close to the mountain without spending a huge deal of money and in parallel without having to deal with a large crowd then Mardi Himal trek is the best option for you. Book this trek today and get the best deal!
