Everest base camp trek has been the king of treks for decades now and it still is going strong. Beginning your trek from the world’s most exhilarating airport of Lukla, this trek takes you to earth’s one of the highest landscapes. What makes this trek special is the terrain which homes few of the world’s highest mountains, hills covered with alpine forest which makes the ambiance fairy tale alike and these forest homing some of the rare habitats and the most important of all the inhabitant super humans ‘The Sherpas’ will definitely make your trip worth remembering for lifelong.

Your journey to Everest base camp trek begins primarily by walking through villages inhabited predominantly by Sherpa people. Sherpas are known as one of the strongest people in the world and are well famed for their capabilities of climbing the high mountains and sometimes even without oxygen. These brave humans are as well one of the most charming people who are hospitable and rich in culture. This specific trail is the home of Sherpas and in abundance. Accommodating in their teahouses and observing their culture and the most interesting of all listening to the folklores, some dating 40 -50 years back and stories of how a Sherpa dreams of conquering the tallest mountains in the world is something worth experiencing.

Nevertheless, you will visit to one of the best viewpoints namely Kalapatthar and witness stretched, spectacular and serene mountains in the surroundings including Everest and other mountains in the surroundings. Furthermore, the feeling of being in the base camp of the highest mountain in the earth is irreplaceable because not everyone is fortunate enough as you to be on the top of the world. Outline Itinerary

Day 1.  Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu.
Day 2. Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour and preparation for the trek.
Day 3. Fly to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding ( 2610m) Duration: 3 hours
Day 4. Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) Duration: 6 – 7 hours
Day 5. Rest day in Namche Bazaar ,hike to Hotel Everest View (3880m) and back to Namche Bazaar.
Day 6. Namche to Tengboche (3860m) Duration: 4-5 hours
Day 7. Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m) Duration: 5-6 hours
Day 8. Dingboche -Chhukhung (4730m) -Dingbuche.
Day 9. Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m) Duration:4-5 hours
Day 10. Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5140m)-Everest Base Camp (5364m) – Gorak Shep. Duration: 6-7 hours
Day 11. Gorak Shep to  Kala Patthar (5550m) back to Gorak Shep then trek to Pheriche (4240m) Duration: 5-6                hours
Day 12. Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3440m) Duration: 6-7 hours
Day 13. Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m) Duration: 6-7 hours
Day 14. Lukla to Kathmandu.
Day 15. Farewell
