Where is Nepal ?

Nepal is geographically positioned in between India and China. It lies in central Asia and is a landlocked country.

How can I get in the country?

There are 2 ways to get in Nepal, first by air and second by road. The only international airport is located in the capital city of Kathmandu and around 30 international airlines fly to Nepal on everyday basis. You can as well get in the country by major port of entries like Panitanki, Raxaul, Jogbani, Sunauli or Mahendranagar.

How many days can I stay in Nepal or how many days visa can I get upon arrival?

Is Nepal safe to travel ?

Nepal is one of the most safest destinations to travel. As per several publications and travel magazines it has made it to the top of the list because travel safety being one of the main reasons. Other than minor offences in bustling cities it is very peaceful and welcoming. In terms of natural catastrophe, Nepal had been hit hard in 2015 by the earthquake of the century but it has now recovered and hardly you can find traces of the quake.

Is Nepal safe for Female travellers ?

Nepal is considered as one of the most safest destinations for Travel in the world. Although being very close to India, it is completely different in terms of tourist safety. What currencies are accepted in Nepal ?

All major currencies are accepted in Nepal. However, for all government work dollar is the preferred currency. Nevertheless, you can exchange all major currencies in money changer.
