Everest View Trek

Welcome to Nepal ! A representative from Crown Earth will receive you at the airport and drop you at your hotel. On this day you will not do much but relax and go around your hotel location. Overnight in Kathmandu.

If you booked this trek long time back your permits are ready before you arrive but if it is a last minute booking you permits will be made on this day. While the back office is busy making permits on the back end, you will get involved in sightseeing some UNESCO world heritage sites. Some time in the day, you will as well do last minute preparation, packing and purchase if necessary. In the evening you will meet your guide and your guide will brief you about the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Your guide will accompany you for this early morning flight to Lukla. Your commuter and your guide will receive you at the hotel and will head for Tribhuwan international airport. The 30 minute scenic flight will land in the most adventurous airport of Lukla. Once in Lukla, you will begin walking from in between the beautiful airport side settlement. You will not see much on this day and it is a very good walk to begin Everest base camp trek with. You will come across village of Cheplung and few hamlets before you enter to a forest that opens to Phakding. Overnight in Phakding. A,B,L,D

You will mostly walk along Dudh Koshi river and majority of today’s walk is uphill. Since its an uphill ride today, you will take one climb at a time and walk slow. However, most of the trail traverses through forests of Rhododendron, Pine, Fir and magnolia which makes your experience pleasant. You will as well get the first glimpse of Mount Thamserku. After getting one of your permits checked several times you will enter Sagarmatha National park from beyond Monjo. The climb gets arduous and the altitude kicks in from beyond Jhorsale. Once we reach Namche, we call it a night. Overnight in Namche. A,B,L,D

It is uttermost important to acclimatize in Everest region before heading further up. Although this day is categorized as the rest day but you will not stay idle but rather hike to higher ground before descending down to Namche. There are several options for side trek from here and depending upon the condition the guide will take you to one of them. You will spend almost 4-5 hours exploring the higher ground and it will help you better adjust to higher altitude. Overnight in Namche. A,B,L,D

You will realize that the day is beautiful as soon as you embark on the trail. Immediately you will witness a barren cliff which was once covered with Juniper tree which was used for fire. At the memorabilia of the first Nepalese climber Tenzing Norgay, you will as well be blessed with splendid views of Thamserku, Lhotse and Everest. Along the way you will come across several teahouses offering bakery and yak cheese in their facility. Towards the end of today’s trek you will first descend towards a river and further climb up through tall and mature Rhododendron forests. Lookout for musk deer and Himalayan thar at this point. The trek start from Tengboche to Phunki Tenga all the way down. After you cross the suspension bridge you need to climb up to the Kyangjuma. After Kyangjuma the trail is easy to work up to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. A,B,L,D

You may find this descend one of the most difficult of all days. The trek from Namche to the bed of Dudh koshi is considered to be the most difficult and from here on, the trail becomes comparatively easier on the knees. Overnight in Lukla. A,B,L,D

This is the last day on Everest region and your Everest base camp trek officially ends once you board the flight back to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, we transfer you at your hotel. Thank you for choosing Crown earth as your adventure partner in Nepal.
